Austin is a good ol’ Connecticut boy born and raised to be a member of an a capella group. He used to play the euphonium in his high school band, but he discovered it was an obsolete and silly instrument. He graduated to some piano and guitar, finding that they, too, were silly. This is the result of his strenuous vocal training: Austin grew up singing for weeks without rest, with boulders on his chest, and while climbing mountains. Thankfully, he has found a group of gentlemen as committed to the human voice as he is. In addition to singing with the Accidentals, Austin has half-heartedly agreed to play rugby for Trinity and play bass guitar for the band the High Tides.
