Est. 1993 - Hartford, CT

Soul to Soul, Brother to Brother

Hey there! We’re The Accidentals, Trinity College’s only all-male a cappella group. We were founded in 1993 and have been singing loud and proud ever since.

Our mission is simple: practice hard and perform harder. We feel that there is no greater feeling than making music you love with guys you respect.

In addition to frequent on-campus gigs, we’ve performed at the 1996 Presidential Debates, the inauguration of the Connecticut Children’s Hospital, the ATP World Doubles Championship, The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, Hartford’s own Wadsworth Atheneum, and numerous colleges and institutions throughout the United States. In 2005, The Accidentals came in first place at the Nutmeg A Cappella Slam, held in Rockville, CT. They did so again in 2007, besting all others in CT.

That feeling... the frisson, the goosebumps... that’s when I knew they meant business.
— Timothy McDermott, Musical Director '18
This is one of the best (if not the best) cover / acapella cover of one of our songs I’ve seen/heard. Especially surreal with the costumes... but absolutely floored by this interpretation. BEAUTIFUL.
— Jukebox the Ghost
You’d be hard pressed to find a better group in the Northeast!
— Tim's mom
Without a doubt, these are the guys that I’ll be inviting to sing at my wedding.
— Cudbe You
